3 Simple Ways to Boost & Keep Your Body Hydrated

This post is sponsored by Sweetleaf Stevia and all opinions expressed in this post are my own.

When you think of ways to staying hydrated your default is most likely plain water, and you wouldn’t be wrong. You’re probably thinking BORING yes I know, but it’s something we have to talk about mama.Taking care of ourselves is sometimes an overlooked task, especially when we become moms.

As for me, being a work at home mom I tend to drink a lot less water when I’m home then when I’m out. We all know staying hydrated is important, just like exercising and staying away from fried foods (although I have a hard time saying no to that).

I’m going to share easy ways you boost and keep your body hydrated without cringing at the sight of another water bottle.

Staying hydrated

3 Simple ways to boost & Keep your Body Hydrated

  1. Get a large bottle of water and track it!

Having an ultimate goal for the end of the day is key to hydrating your body. I suggest filling a large bottle with lots of water with alerts written on them for you to chug. The recommend amount of water your body needs is debatable and depends on how active you are. If you maintain an active lifestyle you’ll need to replace the water you lose when you sweat.

  2. Munch on Fruits & Veggies

Want to boost hydration, eat your fruits and veggies as your mama has always said. Vegetables and Fruits have a high water content. Did you know strawberries are 92% water? That definitely counts towards your daily hydration goal. So Much on!

  3. Flavor your water

I know a lot of people struggle with drinking water, which is probably why you’re reading this. I’ve found that flavoring my water makes it easier to drink up my recommended daily intake. Since Daily fluid intake recommendations vary by age, sex, pregnancy, and other reasons there’s no exact amount to go by but you can be safe with at least your

My favorite NEW way to flavor my water is by using Sweetleaf® Stevia Water Drops™ Water Enhancers. SweetLeaf® is the award-winning stevia brand with zero calories, zero carbs, a non-glycemic response, and NO artificial sweetener. That’s why it is the most popular stevia brand in the natural foods marketplace.

Their Water Enhancers come in four different flavors:
  • Lemon Lime
  • Peach Mango
  • Raspberry Lemonade
  • Strawberry Kiwi

SweetLeaf® Water Drops™ are a convenient, sugar-free, and gluten-free water enhancer. No artificial sweeteners! And Zero calories, enhance the flavor of your water as much or as little as you want!

Use their store locator to find their products in the store nearest to you, you may also purchase directly from them here.

Thanks again for reading friends! Stay Hydrated!!!

P.S. You’ll be glad to know your coffee counts towards your daily recommended amounts too!

I had no idea that strawberries had such a high water content – a good excuse to eat more of them! 🙂 Thanks for these great tips!

I also tried using cucumber in my water to give it a cucumber flavor. I love lemon in water too it keeps me hydrated.

Excellent tips! I also seem to drink less water at home. I’m not a huge fan of flavored water, but having a straw water bottle definitely helps me drink more water; especially with having a baby in one hand all the time. 😃

This is my first time hearing of these water drops. I am trying to drink more water (less Diet Coke, coffee, and wine…). Maybe these will help?!

These tips are really great. I drink for detox water I read on Internet and this helps me retail my glow and weight balance as well. In one litre water I add slices of cucumber, slices of lime and few leaves of mint.

I really struggle with drinking enough water. I do find that adding flavor helps me drink more.

Definitely agree with using a larger bottle to help you see your “big picture” water goal for the day—that always inspires me to drink more of it! These drops look yummy. That lemon lime flavor is calling my name during this summer heatwave we are having down here in Georgia. 🙂

Flavored water seems very cool! The best part of this product is it’s zero sugar and calories 🙂

These are such great tips! I never really thought about flavoring my water beside the occasional lemon water. I love these ideas though. Thanks for sharing!

This looks like such a great way to get some more water in! I am going to have to look into getting some of these.

Love the idea of counting your fruit and veggie intake as part of your water sources!
