Pho Today Vietnamese Restaurant in Jacksonville

I’ve been meaning to add a Local tab on my blog for the longest time and now it’s finally happened! Yay for checking that off my to-do list.

I’ll be sharing some of my favorites and visiting new places to share with you all. Jacksonville has a lot of places to eat & see and I want to share a little bit of this city with you all. Maybe you already live here or you’re visiting and need to find a place to eat tonight.

First up is Pho Today, it’s one of my Favorite Vietnamese Restaurants in Jacksonville. They just recently went through a renovation and I’m loving their fresh updated look.

Whenever I’m visiting any city I always search for a Vietnamese restaurant to eat at, especially if they serve my favorite dish. It’s something I’ve been ordering at Vietnamese Restaurants for over 15 years now. I rarely switch up what I order.

With that said, each new restaurant I visit usually throws in its own twist to the dish. Now that I’ve enticed you into finding out what dish I’m talking about, let me tell you.

It’s called Bo Luc Lac or shaken/shaking beef, but it may go by a different name that I’m not aware of. It’s not anything out of the norm but the flavors of the beef just get to me in a way where now it has become a staple comfort food for me.

Typically I’ll order some egg rolls to start or a small bowl of Pho – which the Vietnamese are traditionally known for. As much as I like eating Pho, like a good Brazilian I do love my rice dishes.

My kiddo is the pickiest of eaters, won’t eat meat and pretty much everything else but he loves sticky rice. I get to enjoy my dish while he enjoys his plain white rice.
