Hurricane Irma Update
Hi Everyone!
Hurricane Irma has come and gone! I’ve been MIA for over a month, Florida life has a way of doing that to a person. We fared well with Hurricane Irma and thankfully only had minor issues. The backyard flooded, we lost power and a tree. Check out some of the photos & video below.
We “entertained” family members from South Florida running away from the hurricane since their area was projected to be most impacted by the storm but with a turn of events Hurricane Irma made a shift west and hit us with less force than anticipated. I’m not complaining.
Everyone and everything is well with our family.
When we lost power we then decided to head to South Florida to stay with family with electricity (cold showers and hot nights isn’t my thing). We stayed for week and I’m not starting to return to my regular routine.

Anyone else horrible at getting back on track when things change in life? Surprisingly I returned right back to the gym! I must talk more about gym life with you all. I’ve been posting on my Instagram Stories mostly, if you don’t follow me on Insta yet, Go on.. don’t be shy! I don’t over post, heck I’ve barely been posting throughout all of this mess.
I’m thankful for God’s protection and pray for all of those impacted by this storm and all the other catastrophes happening in the world right now. There are so many people hurting at the moment. I can’t begin to imagine the pain they are going through.
Keep those families in your thoughts and let’s all contribute to their recovery efforts, by donating to local rescue efforts and with prayers.

P.S. You’ll see by the pictures below, we made the best out of our unplanned family gathering. R.I.P. Backyard Tree, I’ll miss your shade and our skins never looked better thanks to all the face masks we did.
