You know those flowers at your local supermarket? Leave them be! You’re so much better than that. I have been know from time to time to pick those up too. I don’t typically write posts on flowers but this time I decided to take BloomsyBox up on their offer to review their subscription box service. First because Well, I love flowers. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t. Secondly, I just celebrated my 7th wedding anniversary and flowers would be a great way to start the celebration (also let the hubby off the hook, yes dude, you’re welcome!)
I’m somewhat of a newbie to subscription boxes, I have signed up for a few before but I never thought about getting flowers delivered monthly. I received a medium bouquet of roses, but blooms will be vary monthly.
How does the subscription box work?
Bouquets come in three different sizes: Small $34.99/mo, medium $38.99/mo & large 48.99/mo. They also have different payment plans which – Month to Month, 3 Month Prepay, 6 Month Prepay and 12 Month Prepay. Prepaid plans will lower the monthly price slightly. Bouquets will be different every month. All plans auto-renew & may be cancelled online at any time.
Where does the flowers come from?
They are shipped from farms directly to your door. Blooms come from South Africa, Holland, France, and South America. They are handpicked and delivered fresh.
My take on the service?
My flowers were beautiful, delivered to my front door, thorns removed (except for a few missed ones) All I did was cut the stems slightly under running water and placed in a vase. There were a total of 24 roses 12 were long stemmed and 12 shorter. They lasted a whole week. I think this would make a lovely anniversary gift, especially the 12 month plan.
Here’s how the arrangement looked on day 8.
