I’m so excited to be hosting my first ever giveaway for my awesome readers! I’m even more excited that it’s a Freshly Picked Giveaway  of their fabulous moccasins. If you are not familiar with this company you will surely fall in love with them at the end of this review.

Freshly Picked Moccasins Story:

Susan Petersen started making baby moccasins in 2009 after becoming frustrated by the lack of well-designed baby shoes. Using her second child, Gus, as a mocc-tester, and a bag of scrap leather she picked up at a yard sale, she began experimenting with designs. Working at her kitchen table, on a shoestring budget, Susan persisted through some disastrous attempts until she had created a pair of moccasins that not only looked adorable on Gus’ chubby little feet, but stayed on his feet as well.

Since then the moccasins have gone through about six design changes. Each change has perfected the look and the fit of the soft-soled shoe. The moccasins you purchase today are durable, well designed, and most importantly: stay on your child’s foot.

Money was tight at the time Susan started and in order to earn money to start her business she got resourceful. Her brother owns a window installation business and in the summer of 2009 she convinced him to let her keep the old windows that he was removing from the houses. She spent a whole summer banging the glass out of the windows because they were encased in aluminum frames. At the end of the summer she took the aluminum window frames to the scrap yard and recycled them to get money. She made $200 dollars and with that literal sweat equity, she started her business.

Susan also appeared on the T.V. Show The Shark Tank which helped her grow her business even more. Freshly Picked has been a feature in so many blogs, magazines and celebrity children are wearing them like crazy.

So, let’s get to it.

I was so looking forward to getting these babies in the mail, I had seen countless pictures on their Instagram feed (They have over 284k followers, AMAZING!) and they are all absolutely gorgeous. It was difficult picking just one.  For the purposes of this review, I chose the “Prince George” Freshly Picked moccasins.  Fitting, because…Nico is my little prince.

They arrive in this beautiful dust bag to keep them protected along with a Freshly Picked pin 🙂

These Freshly Picked Moccasins soft-soled leather shoes are incredibly comfortable (No complaints from my little man), they have an elastic band that hug your babes tiny feet so shoes won’t fall off!! They are flexible and mold to their feet.

There is no left or right side, as your child grows into them you will see them taking shape of each individual foot. The Freshly Picked logo is stamped on the bottom of each shoe. All in all, it is great quality product and I couldn’t be happier.

For those with disposable income, I would certainly get all colors! But having a price tag of $60 bucks a pop makes it more of a special occasion type shoe for me, especially since kiddos grow out of things so fast. Enter below in the Freshly Picked giveaway.
